Exciting news for this year’s Winterbrew homebrew competition! Empirical is pairing up with Square Kegs this year and offering a shot at getting your beer brewed at their facility and entered into this year’s Great American Beer Fest under the Pro-AM competition. We’ll award first, second, and third place Best of Show awards during judging, all of which will get brewed on Empirical’s pilot system and served at the brewery. The final winner will then be decided based on people’s choice feedback. Sour, Brett, barrel-aged, or beers with ingredients or processes outside Empirical’s production capabilities will be excluded from the Best of Show finalists.
